Pamela Hart, Austin's First Lady of Jazz, performs Sunday, June 20, at the Hill Country Community Theatre. The concert is a Horseshoe Bay Cultural Enrichment Society event.

Hart and her quintet take the stage at 4:30 p.m. at the theater, 4003 FM 2147 West in Cottonwood Shores. Doors open at 4 p.m. A limited number of tickets are $45 each and can be purchased online at hsbenrichment.org.

Regarded as Austin's finest jazz vocalist, Hart moved to Texas in 1982 and was soon entertaining jazz lovers in the capital city's prestigious jazz clubs, including the Elephant Room.

On June 20, the quintet will perform an array of jazz standards, classics, and smooth jazz tunes, all highlighting the voice of the critically acclaimed singer and storyteller.

The concert was initially slated at St. Paul Catholic Church’s Family Life Center, but due to damage caused to the facility by recent rainstorms, officials moved it to the Hill Country Community Theatre, which has fewer seats.

"We are limited (in seating),” said Terri Quinn, a society board member. "I would encourage people (to purchase tickets soon). There is a cap on the number of tickets available."
