Pamela Hart

Austin's first lady of jazz

Pamela Hart is highly regarded as one of Austin, Texas’ finest vocalist.  She is noted by Austin Women’s Magazine as “Austin’s First Lady of Jazz.” Pamela and her husband Kevin Hart produced (and she has performed in) the semi-annual Women in Jazz Concert Series—the greatest events for female jazz musicians in Texas—1994 through 2023.  Pamela is a member of the Texas Touring Roster and was inducted in the Austin Jazz Society Hall of Fame in 2018.  Sheltered but not stifled during covid-19, she live stream a weekly Sunday House Concert Series on Facebook from March 2020 through December 2020.  She is the co-founder of the Women in Jazz Association, Inc., a 501©3 organization to keep jazz alive. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Texas Music Museum.  Her new CD “Happy Talk” is a collection of Pamela Hart’s favorite songs most of which she heard growing up in Los Angeles.  It’s Pamela’s smooth vocals and personal approach to each song that grabs you and keeps you listening.  This album takes you back to her good old days.  Have a good time!
